Our Leader
Jacob Sims, CPA, is a California native and the founder of Sims Tax & Advisory. With a strong foundation in accounting and taxation, Jacob is committed to helping individuals and businesses navigate complex financial matters with confidence, clarity, and strategic insight.
Jacob holds both a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Master's degree in Accounting, bringing a deep understanding of tax regulations, financial reporting, and business advisory services to every client engagement. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he is dedicated to delivering accurate, proactive, and personalized financial guidance.
Prior to founding Sims Tax & Advisory, Jacob spent nearly four years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), one of the world's leading Big Four accounting firms. During his time at PwC, he developed extensive experience in tax planning, compliance, and advisory services, working with a diverse range of clients across various industries.
Today, Jacob combines the technical expertise gained through his Big Four background with a modern, technology-driven approach to client service. His mission is to build lasting relationships and provide strategic solutions that help clients achieve long-term financial success.
